Allison Luff returned to her hometown of Regina, SK, after pursuing piano performance studies which have taken her all over Canada, the United States, Germany, and Hungary. She has had the privilege of studying with internationally renowned performers and pedagogues alike. Allison completed a piano pedagogy specialization at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Kesckemét, Hungary in 2018. She is interested in the impact of ear training and theory in the private piano studio.

 

Allison had the honour of giving a solo piano recital at the University of Regina as the winner of the 2012 Regina Music Club Recital Competition. As well as being an accomplished soloist, Allison has performed in contemporary ensembles, coached lieder, and published a thesis on American composer Charles Ives. Allison is presently active in the music community as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and teacher.
