Description

 

Develop music reading and writing skills through singing, games, music theory, and music listening. Your child will gain a repertoire of songs that will be the vehicle for learning musical phrasing, rhythm, and melody to help prepare them for future music studies. This is the perfect course to start your child’s music education! Based on the Kodály concept. This course may be taken in conjunction with a private instrument or voice lesson or as a stand-alone class. No previous music experience is required. Lessons are 45 minutes and take place once a week at the Conservatory of Music, University of Regina.
